About Let You Down

Sometimes I feel like I can see into the future but not what’s right in front of me. For me, there’s that special thing (not person) I’ll always want. Always, and nothing can or ever will change it. I’ve longed for something sacred my entire life and that longing led me to a very special and unique place but then it was destroyed before it could be embraced. No matter how it all plays out though, I’m glad I had the chance to witness it but so deeply regretful I didn’t get to fully live it.

There’s three versions of this song that I hear but this is definitely one of them.
