Like fly to France, or Japan, or Ireland 
Perhaps jump from the moon
Or shoot electricity into my veins

I want to protrude through the clouds 
Like a gigantic mythological God
Swim to the bottom of every ocean
Fire off a big gun from a massive warship

I want to fly in a helicopter 
Jump from a plane again
Feed a million starving children 
Build homes for the homeless

I want to do something brave 
Something rather scandalous 
Something not so obvious 
Something wonderful and marvelous

I want to play the perfect song 
Write a bestseller
Pretend that I am Zeus
Or Amadeus or Beethoven

I want to climb and then jump 
From the Empire State Building 
Till I splash onto the concrete 
And create a blood painting

I want to destroy a Senator 
Stop a burglary
Start a conspiracy
Or become a killer

I want to take up boxing
Or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
I’d like to kick someone’s ass 
Preferably a pedophile or two (or all)

I want to topple an economy 
Make something useful 
Invent a miracle
Or start a new religion

I want World War III
Or the New World Order 
Or one global bank
So I can blow that fucker up

I want the end of senseless killing 
Superstitious nonsense
The complete death of politics 
And really, the end of all war

I want actual food
The real thing
Not some genetically modified shit 
Like a lot of the current stuff we get

I want extraterrestrial life
Something more powerful and smarter than us 
To come down here and show us
What intelligence really means

I want something magical to happen 
Anything
But mostly
I want you to love me
